A Clinic Designed to Teach and Heal

Lane County Public Health’s newest Community Health Center expands access to holistic and affordable care in south Lane County with its first clinic outside the Eugene and Springfield area. Located in Cottage Grove, the clinic was developed through a unique partnership with Lane Community College. An underutilized classroom building was thoughtfully remodeled to include primary care, behavioral health counseling, dental care, and WIC services, with the capacity to serve more than 5,000 local residents. A shared lobby connects students and patients and reflects a deeper collaboration. Lane Community College students gain real-world experience through on-site training in the clinic.

Clinical areas are organized to support team-based care while ensuring patient privacy and intuitive navigation. Natural light, bright finishes, and well-designed staff spaces contribute to a professional and welcoming environment. The result is a flexible, high-performing clinic that supports both community health and the education of future caregivers.
