CKA is partnering with healthcare systems across the Northwest to redefine how emergency care is delivered. Three recent projects expand critical capacity, optimize care delivery, and create state-of-the-art environments that meet today’s urgent demands.
Each project presents unique challenges such as the need to maintain uninterrupted emergency services during construction, aging infrastructure, and growing populations and community needs. In response, our designs deliver practical, strategic solutions such as secure single-entry points for enhanced safety, expanded triage and treatment zones that reduce patient wait times, and a new off-campus emergency care model to help provide better access to underserved populations.
Our designs focus on clinical performance features such as clear staff sightlines, streamlined workflows, and immediate access to vital equipment. For patients and their families, these new facilities offer calm, intuitive spaces filled with natural light and materials that promote comfort and well-being.
Together, these projects exemplify our commitment to thoughtful, high-impact design. Each one is shaped by a deep understanding of each client’s emergency care needs, and is designed to delver better outcomes when every moment counts.
