Building Rural Oregon: A Modern take on Primary & Specialty Care 

This medical office building, on the campus of Adventist’s Tillamook County General Hospital, accommodates 12 providers. The building was designed to accommodate a variety of visiting and resident practitioners – exam rooms are “generic” and uncluttered, with ample storage and space for equipment. A centralized work center is the focus of workflow in the building, The building is designed to be patient-friendly, too, with short walking distances from the entry, check-in and exam room.

The building is situated on campus to be expandable by 100%, and extensive use of modular furniture and partitions in the staff core provides functional flexibility inside. Technology is a key feature of the facility, and future technology changes are accommodated, including informational monitors, flexibility / adaptability for computers in exam rooms, and adjustable workstations to accommodate correct ergonomic practices.
